there’s two things in life that i think about WAY too often that fuck me up and they’re tuberculosis and radiation

radiation: hey there’s this thing that literally Unravels Your DNA and things exposed to it need to be locked away in concrete tombs for eternity because it lingers for measures of time beyond our real ability to perceive

now of course the counter-argument here is that who cares, he was a kid then, he’s just a minecraft youtuber it doesn’t really matter. and sure, they have a point in terms of strict legalistic moral judgment they’re probably right. but that doesn’t actually matter. i want him dragged through the streets for this. i want him to struggle to get a job. i want him to suffer for the crime of doing minecraft youtube. it’s just that nobody recognizes this as something worth social ostracization and financial ruin yet so it has to be achieved by other means. and it just so happens that the opportunity has presented itself for an equal punishment to be delivered for other reasons. well, i’ll take it
the aggressive obsession with passing a lot of young trans people have should be destroyed and replaced with simply existing, if say ur a girl then ur a girl, if u say ur a boy ur a boy, if u say ur both or neither etc then you are, nothing has to change, it’s sad seeing a lot of kids repeat the same internalized hatred i’ve seen my peers and my self grow up with and it shouldn’t be normalized
like hehe yeah tiktok twitter and instagram trans kids etc get into the worst discourse partially bc theyre kids but mostly bc they don’t really know that more than half the stuff they worry about doesn’t matter, but like coming from people who were in highschool / middleschool when trans “influencers” like kalvin garrah where at their height, we know what hatred and caging gender and gender expression does to people, it has no good outcomes, i think trans people who are adults need to do a better job showing and just saying that being trans is not a crime or something to be ashamed of, you can happy, because you deserve to be, you deserve to love yourself and your body
